This Is The One Thing Mark Zuckerberg Looks For In Any Potential Employee

Want to bag a job at Facebook? Read on.

When Mark Zuckerberg gives career advice, well let’s just say it’s probably worth sitting up and taking note.

Now the founder of Facebook has revealed his one test when he’s hiring new employees… and it might surprise you.

No it’s not your CV, your online skills (which we bet are still important), or how fast you can code. It all boils down to you.

Addressing the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Zuckerberg revealed his unique hiring process:

“I will only hire someone to work directly for me if I would work for that person. It’s a pretty good test.”

Keeping in theme with knowing yourself, Zuckerberg feels Facebook has worked so well due to its smaller teams:

“The most important thing is to keep your team as small as possible. [Facebook] serves more than a billion people around the world but our team has fewer than 10,000 people. It’s only possible because of modern technology. Big companies get bloated.”

He later added that the most important thing is to “just have faith in yourself and trust yourself.”
