Terms and Conditions – AIB Start-Up Academy Wildcard Vote

Terms and Conditions

(1) This promotion is being run on and

(2) The ten entrants are the 10 Start Up companies that made it through to the final 20 Start Up companies of the Start Up Academy pitch day but did not make it into the final 10 Start Up companies who will participate in the AIB Start Up Academy Programme in association with The Irish Times.

(3) The winner will be chosen by the readers of and through a poll. The results of the and poll will be pooled in order to choose the overall winner. The winner shall be the Start Up company that has received the most votes.

(4) No purchase is necessary to vote in the poll.

(5) The poll will be open to the public for voting between 12pm on Monday 1st December and 6pm on Friday 12th December 2014. Any information provided by a person for the purposes of voting will only be held and used by and for the purposes of the promotion and will be deleted there after.

(6) Voting is limited to one vote per person.

(7) The prize consists of:

(a) a place in The AIB Start Up Academy Programme in association with The Irish Times. This is a weekly programme of training (one day per week) which will run for eight weeks in total, starting in January 2015. On completion of the Start Up Academy Programme, finalists will be invited to pitch to win an overall prize; and

(b) promotion of winning Wildcard business thorugh a Video Diary hosted on and

(8) No alternative prize or cash prize will be offered.

(9) The prize will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the suppliers of the prize.

(10) The Promoters reserve the right to change any aspect of the prize.

(11) The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

(12) Entrants consent to the disclosure of their name as the winner (if successful). Details of the Wildcard winner will be published on and on Monday 15th December 2014.

(13) The winner may be required to participate in unpaid promotional related publicity undertaken by the Promoters or their associated companies.

(14) Entry to this promotion shall be deemed full and unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions.

(15) The Promoters reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions.

(16) The Promoters reserve the right to amend, withdraw or terminate the promotion or alter the specification of the promotion without prior notice.

(17) The Promoters may not be held liable for any breakdowns, faults, accidents or technical complications arising in relation to this promotion.

(18) The Promoters are excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.

(19) The Promoters are Maximum Media, The Irish Times and AIB Start Up Academy 2014.

(20) These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
