Cleaning your makeup brushes is an absolute necessity and if you’ve ever slacked off, this will make you think again.
Mario Dedivanovic, Kim K’s makeup artist, has a secret formula when it comes to cleaning makeup brushes and it’s easier than you might think.
The talented beauty guru took to his Snapchat account yesterday to share his secret and it involves two ingredients that you more than likely have lying around at home: tea tree oil and baby shampoo.
Although baby shampoo is commonly used for brush cleaning, this is the first time I’ve heard about incorporating tea tree oil.
However, as featured last week, tea-tree oil has antiseptic properties and works a treat when used for acne so it would make sense that it would destroy any bacteria lying dormant in your brush collection.
Not only is Mario besties with Kim, he’s also in with Chrissy Teigen and to be fair, her makeup always looks fabulous too.
