Rosa Ramirez hadn’t cut her hair in 25 years. Her hair fell to the floor and Rosa often tripped on it or had it blow out the window as she drove. It was a pain.
She decided recently to cut four feet of it off to donate it to Locks of Love. Rosa visited the Papillon Blanc Hair and Lounge in Birmingham, Michigan to get the chop.
Speaking to WXYZ-TV Detroit, salon owner Eda Motchka said, “We love to see different things done on customers — different styles — and we meet very often and I always see her the same way.”
Rosa made sure her locks were going to good use, donating the hair to Locks of Love. The charity makes wigs for children suffering from hair loss.
“I think it would make somebody’s day who’s suffering from a bad disease, it will make their day a little brighter,” she said.
