VIDEO: Fat-Busting Freeze Treament – We Try Out CoolTec at Therapie Clinic

Working at Her.ie can be a strange and wonderful thing at times.

Part of our mission statement is to seek out the latest and greatest in beauty treatments, so earlier this week we headed to Therapie Clinic to try out the highly-rated CoolTec, a fat freezing treatment that works to break down fat cells found in stubborn pockets around the body.

Freezing treatments, such as Cooltec, work to cool the fat cells, which then shrink, break down and are removed by the body’s natural metabolic process.

The treatment is designed for people who are within one to one and a half stone of their goal weight, someone who eats well and exercises, but who may have a build-up that’s tough to get rid of in typically stubborn areas like the stomach, love-handles, thighs etc.

I’m currently on a healthy eating kick and embarking on a gym routine, but my stomach is a testament to my previous fondness for carbs and diet soft drinks, not a good combination!

So, I headed off to Therapie Clinic on Molesworth Street in Dublin to give Cooltec a go. Watch the video above to see how I got on, but be kind – it’s not easy to bare it all for the camera!

In 12 weeks I’ll head back to Therapie Clinic to get my measurments taken again… for now I’m playing the waiting game!
