Three To Try: Nail Trends Inspired by the Autumn/Winter Runways

They've given us the heads up on three for you to try at home. Get hands on with these instructions and you'll have your new favourite manicure in no time. Nailed it! ‘Twist on the French Mani’ A twist on the classic french manicure was designed for the Rebecca Minkoff show. Models donned a dark red nail with black tips. To get this look firstly apply CND SOLAROIL™ to clean filed nails. This award-winning cuticle oil is infused with jojoba oil and vitamin E to create stronger healthier nails. Once rubbed in, apply one coat of CND VINYLUX™ in Crimson Sash. Allow to dry. Using CND VINYLUX™ in Indigo Frock brush on a neat arc along the edge of the nail and allow to dry. To finish apply a layer of VINYLUX™ Top Coat to give your look the week-long lasting effect. ‘Dot the I’ The A/W Alice and Olivia catwalk was a showcase of glossy nails with simple dots along the tips of the nails and cuticle line. Apply CND SOLAROIL™ to clean filed nails. Apply two layers of CND VINYLUX™ in Plum Paisley to nails and allow to dry. To apply the gold dots, dip a nail dotting tool in CND VINYLUX™ in Locket Love and carefully apply a medium sized dot a medium sized dot in the centre and two smaller dots surrounding it. To finish apply a layer of VINYLUX™ Top Coat to give your look the week-long lasting effect. TIP: If you don’t have a nail dotting tool a bobby pin is equally as effective.  ‘Half and Half’ The Matthieu Mirano show was dominated by the half and half mani. Firstly apply CND SOLAROIL™ to clean filed nails. Apply a single layer of CND VINYLUX™ in Rose Brocade to the right side of the nail, covering a quarter of the nail. Then apply two layers of CND VINYLUX™ in Plum Paisley to fill in the remaining left side of the nail.
