The rose gold beauty hall of fame

You're going to want all of these.

Cathy Donohue

Rose gold everything.

Honestly, it might be ‘basic’ but this trend is so pretty, I really don’t care.

People have slated pink as too girly for years, unicorns are getting a bashing since the emoji landed and apparently, marble is on the way out (blasphemous thing to say IMHO).

Anyway, rose gold is just fabulous, and to celebrate its very existence, I’ve selected some gorgeous beauty products and sets in this particular hue.

Again, like the Christmas presents you actually want, self-gifting might be an issue here.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

GHD V Copper Premium Gift Set, €165

I recently treated myself to this, about time as my old GHD was nearly nine years old, and it’s a dream.

There’s a travel case, a glittery Nails Inc varnish and seriously, the absolute joy of using a brand new GHD cannot be described.

PIXI Best of Bright Kit, €25.95

If you’re a bit of a beauty nerd, you’ll have heard all about PIXI Glow Tonic, which has become somewhat of a cult product in recent months.

The oil-free, alcohol-free toner contains witch hazel and ginseng, both of which firm and tighten the skin while also removing dead skin cells and unblocking pores.

This cute little gift set comes complete with a mud cleanser and a mud mask which is pretty good value for money.

Also, rose gold looks great with green, and now I feel an interiors revamp coming on.

Tom Ford Orchid Soleil, €99

Okay, this is a splurge but would you just look at that bottle?!

Both floral and spicy, it’s definitely more of a night fragrance, and includes hints of vanilla, black orchid, heady tuberose and patchouli.

A must for anyone who loves a warm, sensual scent and of course, it would look very pretty on your dressing room table.

Fuschia On the Go Brush Set, €39

Six rose-gold brushes that come in a handy case that’s ideal for travelling.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m VERY bad at maintaining my brushes and love nothing more than starting a new set so of course, these beauties are talking to me.

I mean, why have black when you can have rose gold?

Vita Liberata Fabulous Glow Luxury Tan Kit, €37

BARGAIN.

Okay, so this normally retails at €82 but it’s currently available on Cloud 10 Beauty for €37.50, FAB news altogether.

Vita Liberata was the tan used at the Victoria’s Secret show recently and to be fair, that’s enough for me.

There’s a Vita Liberata Body Blur (hero product and ideal if you don’t want a full-on tan), Vita Liberata Fabulous Self Tanning Tinted Lotion, tanning mitt and rose gold wash bag.

NARS Satin Lipstick, €26

If rose gold was a lipstick, it would be this warm, velvety, satin, delicious shade.

It contains conditioners and antioxidants to care and protect your pout, particularly important during the winter season.

It’s also a very wearable shade that’s perfect for day to day.

Rose gold beauty tools, from €1.50 at Penneys

Tweezers, eyelash curlers, compact mirrors. When it comes to rose gold beauty tools, Penneys has you covered and thankfully, pretty much everything is under €4.

These proved so popular when they first arrived a few months ago that they’ve been restocked and it’s no surprise given the amount of love for rose gold this year.

They won’t be around forever though so get them while you can.

MAC Pigment Copper Sparkle, €22

This is literally rose gold dust.

It’s just fab and can be worn alone or over a base eyeshadow to add some sparkle, it is the festive season after all!

If you’re a fellow rose gold obsessive, this is one beauty buy you’ll want to make yours as soon as possible.

Stila Convertible Colour in Peony, €21.50

I do love a multi-purpose product, particularly one that comes in rose gold packaging.

You can pop this on your cheeks for a rosy glow or dab onto your lips to brighten them up, so handy when you need a quick colour fix and can’t be bothered to put lippie on.

This is one product that will be in your handbag constantly as it’s super handy for makeup touch-ups on the go.
