The Ordinary has finally released its much-anticipated, ‘new and improved’ sunscreen.
The skincare brand has released a new sunscreen after listening to customer feedback about its previous edition, which saw claims of a thick texture and white cast.
This version was discontinued back in October 2023, and the all-new UV Filters SPF 45 Serum has been years in the making.
The sun care product recently dropped on The Ordinary’s website and is priced at €19.90 / £15.80.
The product’s description nods to previous customer issues, saying: “A lightweight SPF 45 sunscreen serum that protects and hydrates, for daily use with no white cast.”
The serum-textured sunscreen provides protection against sun damage and reduces premature skin aging caused by the sun.
It can be used as part of your daily skincare and beauty routine as its compatible with makeup and skin products. The serum is also fragrance-free, lightweight and blends into skim seamlessly.
Plus it’s suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin as it’s been formulated to be non-comedogenic.
Despite being a new release the much-anticipated product has already garnered over 100 reviews.
“I love this sunscreen!” said one five star review. “It’s not messy it blends in so easily and effortlessly. It leaves the skin moisturized and not greasy. It went easily with my moisturizer so no pilling. It’s truly that good!”.
