She says that highlighter should NEVER look heavy and too much of the shimmery stuff can look dull, which completely goes against the look you're trying to achieve.
Ariana Grande's makeup artist, Daniel Chinchilla, is pretty much on the same page, saying that people often apply highlighter all over the face, which only serves to make your skin look oily.
