Rosacea is a skin condition many Irish women deal with every day.
Rosacea is often referred to as “the curse of the Celts” due to the number of Irish people suffering from the condition.
The cause of the skin condition is not known, and many people will struggle to find a treatment that works for them, but there is one serum that has been hugely helpful for many women, and it’s by an Irish skincare brand.
Skingredients has become one of the most reliable skincare brands in Ireland, with the team creating products that tackle our biggest skincare issues without filling them with harmful ingredients.
Speaking about Rosacea Awareness Month, the team at Skingredients said the skin condition affects 10% of Irish adults.
Skingredients CEO Jennifer Rock said, “One of our top queries at The Skin Nerd, according to The National Rosacea Society, rosacea affects a huge 415 million people worldwide and affects approximately 10% of Irish adults.”
Whilst rosacea cannot be cured, you can manage symptoms by following subsequent medical advice.
Following a soothing, calming skincare routine will also help ease redness.
One product the experts at Skingredients recommend is their Skin Veg Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum.
“Skin inflammation means redness, so look for skincare containing anti-inflammatory properties, such as Skingredients Skin Veg Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum.
“This hydrating hyaluronic acid pre-serum contains aloe vera extract: an ingredient with anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. Apply twice daily to soothe any redness,” Rock shares.
If you suspect you have rosacea, please visit your GP or dermatologist. They will be able to make a professional assessment of your skin.
