There comes a time when things in your make up bag get pretty manky. Brushes are battered and powders are smashed - but one thing that wrecks our heads is when we can't even see the real colour of our beauty blenders anymore. They're just a mix of beige and nude tones. Lovely. Most of the time, we'll resort to throwing them out - but that's not exactly the best way to go about it. So, when we found this tweet about how to clean a beauty blender in one minute, we hopped on it; and guess what? It actually worked. The Twitter account @melaningoddess first tweeted about this last year, but it was recently picked up by InStyle and since then it has exploded online.

All you have to do is put your beauty blender in a cup with soap and water. Pop into the microwave for one minute and poof! Your beauty blender is brand new. The user added not to squeeze it when it comes out too, as it's very, very hot.
