Here are six absolutely delicious perfumes that we’re loving this month

Rebecca O'Keeffe

Can we have them all?

So, I would describe myself as a bit of a perfume nerd.

Everyone has their thing, and one of mine is perfumes.

I am always on the look out for new and gorgeous scents, that suit various different places and times.

Do you have a perfume that you only really wear on mad nights out?

Or perhaps a specific smell you prefer to wear on holiday?

Well, I probably have about 60, and I use them depending on my mood, the weather, or where I am.

So, I have decided that I will start sharing my perfume discoveries with you gals on a monthly basis.

It’d be a shame to keep them to myself.

So, here are my five favourite perfumes for the month of July.

Armani Privé Orangerie Venise.

This is the latest addition to the Armani Privé family, and it’s absolutely divine. Inspired by the orangeries of Italy, the scent is a zesty, elegant and long-lasting one. It contains notes of citrus, neroli and bergamot – a winning combination. I was lucky enough to preview this perfume earlier in the month, and all I can say is wow. Orangerie Venise will be available in Brown Thomas and online from tomorrow for €156.

perfumes

Bottega Venetta Illusione Pour Femme.

Inspired by the heritage, landscape and extraordinary raw materials of Italy, the home of Bottega Veneta, three master perfumers used the highest quality ingredients to create this timeless fragrance. It contains notes of orange blossom and vegetal green fig along with a base of olive wood and tonka bean. You can get your hands on this scent in Arnotts in the coming weeks, for €63.

perfumes

Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet.

Oh how I love the look of a Marc Jacobs fragrance on my shelf! The new Daisy Love Eau So Sweet captures the addictive and irresistible spirit of Daisy Love with an unexpected sweet freshness, making it the perfect summer scent. It contains notes of white raspberries and delicate musk, along with crystallised cranberries and daisy tree petals. It’s available now at Boots for €69.

perfumes

L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Intense Roll-On.

This perfume is the perfect all-rounder. The Cherry Blossom Roll-On Eau de Toilette Intense offers all the delicacy and softness of this fruity floral fragrance in a concentrated formula perfect for fragrant touch-ups throughout the day. It contains a cherry extract from the Luberon region of southern France. Oh, and it costs a very reasonable €19. Gorge.

perfumes

Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey.

It really wouldn’t be a perfume round up with out a little Jo Malone action, would it? My current favourite (and one of my all-time faves) has to be Nectarine Blossom and Honey. Inspired by London’s Covent Garden early morning market, the scent is sweet and delightfully playful. Contains notes of succulent nectarine, peach and cassis and delicate spring flowers that melt into the note of acacia honey. Available here for €54!
