It’s the go-to foundation for many makeup fans across the world.
With its full coverage and long-wear finish, Estée Lauder’s cult classic Double Wear foundation has (understandably) earned a place in the beauty hall of fame.
But at €40 a bottle, it’s easy to see why people have been getting so excited about a €6 dupe.
The PS…My Perfect Colour Longwear Ultimate Matte Foundation from Penneys has sent the internet into a frenzy over its similar qualities to Double Wear.
It all began when YouTuber Lauren Malone shared a comparison video of the two foundations last January.
She had Penneys on one side of her face and Estée Lauder on the other, remarking how both foundations looked “exactly the same” when finished.
She did note, however, that the Penneys version needed a lot more product and time to get the same kind of coverage as the Double Wear foundation.
Ever since, fans of both brands have been sharing their comparison reviews across social media.
Another beauty blogger named Sinead, who goes by Look Fabulous by Sinead, North Wales on Facebook, said she “swears by” the bargain.
She said:
“I recently heard about the Primark foundation being a dupe for Double Wear. I swear by this foundation so I had to give it a go, well they were right, it’s amazing and for only £5!
“You’re welcome ladies.”
