Penneys launch new CBD skincare and cosmetics range

You know it's a big beauty trend when Penneys gets involved!

Primark has just announced the launch of a full range of CBD skincare and cosmetics products. Big news in the beauty world! CBD products are usually on the pricey side but thanks to Penneys (hun) this beauty trend will be available to all of us at a better price than what's currently out there. They're calling the PS... CBD skincare and cosmetics range "calming and hydrating" and another thing to note is all the products are vegan. The products that will be available include a CBD serum, a mask, a moisturiser. There will also be a concealer, brow gel, lash serum and a primer and everything comes in under €5. CBD is still a relatively new trend that's popped up over the last few years, it has been praised by celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow for its calming benefits and now the oil is being praised for its benefits in skincare. When speaking about her health and wellbeing with Us Weekly Jennifer Aniston said "CBD helps with pain, stress and anxiety, it has all the benefits of Marijuana without the high." Actress Olivia Wilde is also a fan of CBD she told The New York Times "I’ve been using this body lotion that has CBD in it. Recently I did a play on Broadway for six months, and my body was wrecked – my neck was really tight. The CBD has relaxing benefits, and the idea is to avoid using too many painkillers." Samir Juneja, Founder of CBD of London told Glamour magazine: "we’re also seeing provenance for CBD as a powerful anti-ageing compound, anti-inflammatory and as an anti-oxidant. The difference between hemp and CBD in skincare is that not all products that are made with hemp extracts contain any CBD."
