Irish men hail Lynx Africa as the GOAT of male fragrances
The people have spoken and Ireland’s "all-time greatest" male fragrance has been revealed. Lynx Africa, which has been in circulation since 1995, has now officially been declared as the most popular scent among men.According to a nationwide survey, a whopping 85% of Irish men have been known to spritz themselves with the all-too-familiar scent of Lynx Africa. What’s more, over 70% of men agreed that the spray is Ireland’s most "iconic scent," and more than a third of respondents say they have been paid a compliment while wearing it.Let's be honest, we all love hearing the compliment, "You smell amazing!" which half of respondents in Cavan, Monaghan, and Donegal allegedly are no strangers to when wearing the signature fragrance.Since its inception, Lynx Africa has sold enough product to fill Dublin’s Convention Centre 54,000 times over, so it’s no wonder that 80% of Dubs said they would be able to identify the scent in a smell test.I don’t know about you, but Lynx Africa reminds me of my teenage era when boys would douse themselves from head to toe in it.It seems this trend is still going strong as as a resounding quarter of men from Munster report that they’ve been loyal to the fragrance for over 11 years. As they say, consistency is key. What do you reckon? Is Lynx Africa the G.O.A.T of male fragrance?
