“I Need VOLUME” Eleven Of The Worst Things About Having Straight Hair

This goes out to all the ladies out there with straight hair who spend HOURS styling and backcombing only to end up with hair straighter than if you had ironed it for six hours. People with wavy or curly hair have no idea. Here are the eleven worst things about having straight hair. 1. The Need for Volume. Backcombing, volumising mousse, volumising hairspray, backcombing spray, more backcombing. WHY DOES THIS STILL LOOK FLAT!? 2. Upstyles? GOOD ONE! They stay up for about ten minutes. They should just basically be called downstyles. 3. The Flyaway. Where is this static coming from? Why won't you stay in the same place?! 4. The Compliments. "Oh I'd love to have straight hair like you!" 5. The Curl Dilemma Heading out for a special occasion? Curl your hair in advance? It will last a total of ten minutes. In fact, you will get to the door and your hair will be straight again. Curly hair is the unattainable dream. 6. The Dead Zone Ever wash your hair and then not put any products in it? Yes, besides the fact that this is a HUGE mistake, you will be introduced to the Dead Zone in a couple of hours; ridiculously flat hair. 7. The Knots Dear Lord, the knots. If the wind could just die down for a couple of hours so I can get rid of this bloody knot! 8. The Fire Conundrum The problem with using too much hairspray is at any given point in the evening, you might actually go up in a ball of flame. 9. The Constant Wash Washed my hair four hours ago, now need to wash it again. Now backcomb. Now hairspray. I'm just going to go and cry in the corner. 10. The Products. You could basically build a room where you could store all of the products that have promised you fake glory. BOUNCY, FULL OF LIFE HAIR! STOP LYING TO ME!!!!! 11. You Never "Wake Up Like This" Beyonce may wake up with that slight wave, we will never wake up like this.
