For the majority of us, applying eye shadow and liner proves to be the biggest make up challenge, however you’ll be pleased to know perfecting the smokey look is simple.
There are many alternatives to the classic black and grey smokey eye, and for those a little more daring you can change up the colours or add a little sparkle.
Opting for a rich browns and a cranberry palette look is always safe as it is suitable for any eye colour, and is perfect for Autumn time.
Here are five easy steps to achieve the look yourself:
1. Take the Glam’eyes HD Palette in Brixton Brown from Rimmel and apply the cranberry shade to the centre of the lid, blending outwards
2. Apply the dark brown shade to the outer corner of the lid in a ‘V’ shape and also to the lower lash line and blend.
3. Pop the gold highlighter shade to the inner corner of the eye.
4. Apply the Special Eyes Black liner to the water line
5. Finish by applying SuperCurler mascara to the lashes, making sure to start at the root of the lashes and work the brush in a zig-zag motion upwards to cover every lash.
This mascara has built in curling power so no need to reach for the dreaded eyelash curlers.
Pro tip – if you wet the Eyeshadow powder you’ll get a more intense colour pay-off.
