The product was sold online through Amazon and there are approximately 3 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
The second straightener which has been recalled is the Professional Straightening with LCD Digital Display sold on Amazon due to a similar safety issue.
The product presents a risk of electric shock because the product does not comply with the requirements of the relevant safety standards.
The ASIN number is B09DSHFSKK, the model number is KS-S186, but the barcode and brand are unknown.
The product was sold online through Amazon and there are approximately 69 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
Hair crimper
The DSHOW Hair Crimper Hair Waver Hair Straightener Curling Iron sold on Amazon has also been recalled.
The product presents a risk of electric shock as well because it does not comply with the requirements of the relevant safety standards.
The brand is DSHOW, the ASIN number is B071JNLNPB, the model number is HL-066, but the barcode is unknown.
The product was sold online through Amazon and there are approximately 113 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
