TikTok is a fantastic place to find beauty trends, we’ve seen concealer hacks, wedding hair to do at home, the whole lot but the latest – Hailey Bieber nails.
In an interview on the social media app with Refinery29, Hailey Bieber revealed exactly what she asks for when she is getting her nails done.
Giving a new look to a nude, neutral classic, celebrities have been obsessing over the latest nail trend, and Hailey has put it on the map.
Looking like white pearls with a chrome finish, they’re a lot easier to recreate than you’d think and TikTok users have been coming out in force with the trend.
“I do one thin layer of a colour,” Hailey told Refinery29. “I like making my own colours too, so I’ll ask her [the nail technician] ‘Can you mix this with this and put clear in it to thin it out.” She added: “Then, I rub chrome dust over it. I’m having a chrome nail obsession.”
Making things even better than just Hailey telling us, her nail artist Zola Ganzorigt has shared the colour combination, calling it “glazed donuts nails.”
So here’s how it’s done – first ask for OPI Stay Strong gel base coat before adding OPI GelColor Gel Nail Polish in Funny Bunny.

On top of this, ask for OPI Gel Color Stay Shiny Top Coat with OPI Chrome Effects Mirror Shine Nail Powder in Tin Man Can.
While these are all OPI Professional products, they are available to buy in the likes of Boots and online beauty retailers if you want to get the look at home.
Hailey has long nails, but this look is so simple that it can work no matter what nail shape or length you have, and it works no matter what.
The trend has really taken off, with #HaileyBieberNails having over 50 million views on TikTok and salons are reporting that they are now doing more than 10 sets of them a day.
Salons in major cities like LA and New York have now even created bundles of the polish and are ready to go the second someone asks for it.
This nail look is a subtle way to give a bolder look to the manicure you’re getting but want more of a high-impact hue to it – and it can be done with countless different colours.
