You’ve probably noticed by now that the Her.ie girls have a mild obsession with former reality star turned designer Whitney Port. Our love for Whit began many years ago as she toiled away with bestie L.C. in that windowless wardrobe space at Teen Vogue (oh to work in a windowless wardrobe at Teen Vogue). From going on her ear on live TV in front of Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley whilst wearing that Hilary Swank Oscar gown to her on-screen bust up’s with frenemy Olivia Palermo, we’ve always firmly been Team Whitney and love her eclectic sense of style and the fact that she just seems so nice.
But, back to business! Not only are we coveting Whit’s entire wardrobe and that perfectly tousled balayage hair we are also lusting after her bang-on-trend red carpet beauty looks. The star is a big fan of a statement lip and this glossy wine shade is at the top of our wish list this season. But, it not all about the lip really – Whitney’s flawless skin and bright complexion also have us all of a dither so here’s how to get her look.
Base:
The key to Whitney’s fresh faced make-up look is her complexion so ditch the heavy foundation and apply a tinted moisturiser or BB cream instead. Eyes:
When wearing a statement lip, it’s best to avoid a smoky eye or heavy eyeliner so a powder liner works best.
