Corrie’s Catherine Tyldesley has dyed her hair brown and it is just STUNNING

It's actually GORGEOUS.

Catherine Tyldesley, who has gained a major fan base from her role as Eva Price on Coronation Street, recently completed filming on the soap. To mark a new direction in her career, the popular actress opted for a major hair change and we actually love it. Catherine is well known for her long blonde waves but she's changed her look completely, choosing a warm brown shade and chopping a few inches off the length. The mum of one debuted her new hair on Instagram and said "dark hair, don't care" and it seems as though her 399k followers agree. The positive comments have been rolling in from her followers, "love the new hair", "hair is stunning" and "love you brunette" and we have to say we're in agreement, the brown shade is just gorgeous. In the same Instagram post, the actress said that she was feeling "honoured and humbled" on what was an "extremely special day" for the star. Yesterday, she and other former students from Birmingham City University received honorary fellowships and memberships and it's clear that this meant a lot to the soap star.

It's not yet clear what project the actress will take on next but Coronation Street fans will no doubt be intrigued to see what follows post-Eva.
