The body care products that will keep you cool this summer from €6.95

Sophie Collins

We’ve all been struggling to keep cool with the warmer weather in Ireland over the last few weeks.

Without air conditioning and the proper set up for rising temperatures, our homes have been sweltering, particularly at night.

Did you know there are products you can buy that will keep you much cooler if used in and after the shower – or on their own.

One such brand that has “cooling” products is Dr. Bronner’s, a family-owned maker of the top-selling natural brand of soap in North America and other organic certified and fair trade certified personal care products.

With the summer heat continuing into mid-June, the brand is highlighting its Peppermint range to help stay cool this summer season.

Speaking about the Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint range, President of the brand and grandson of company founder Emanuel Bronner, Michael Bronner said: “Being from Southern California, we know the secret to beating the heat is the Peppermint tingle after washing with our soap.

“Because our products are non-toxic, safe, and effective for keeping the whole family clean, they can be used for laundry, dishes, floors, and even bathing pets, who probably need some relief from the summer sun, too.

“Additionally, the farmers who supply the peppermint oil we source from India are helping keep the planet cool by utilizing regenerative farming practices that can help reduce carbon emissions, so you can help cool the planet while using our Peppermint range to stay cool on a warm day.”

Among the peppermint products on sale at the moment are:

Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Hemp Peppermint Pure-Castile Liquid and Bar Soap €6.95
