Nude Magique Blur, €12.99, L’Oréal Paris
If you’re over the BB cream craze and looking for your next ‘flawless skin’ fix, may we suggest this latest innovation from L’Oréal Paris. This lovely lightweight balm instantly blurs away pores and fine lines for beautiful nude looking skin.
The secret us the concentrated light reflectors, and micro blur technology which delivers an optical blurring effect. It can be used alone if you’re lucky enough to have skin that doesn’t require makeup, or indeed under your usual makeup.
You can buy in your choice of Light or Medium, and for €12.99 we’re marking this one down as ‘definitely worth the money’.
Peppermint Foot Lotion, €14.95, Burt’s Bees
If you’ve been taking advantage of the summer days to get out and about in the sunshine, then chances are your feet are paying the price for your trekking! Summer feet can feel tired, hot and uncomfortable, so it makes sense to have at least one dedicated product in your beauty arsenal. This creamy peppermint foot lotion provides a triple treat against dry, overworked feet. A botanical blend of oils and extracts made from witch hazel, tea tree, parsley, rosemary and sodium bicarbonate help to neutralise mild foot odour, while peppermint oil and menthol invigorate tired, overworked feet and sunflower, wheat germ and coconut oils nourish and moisturise rough, calloused feet and heels.
Colours in the Wild, €9.99, essie
We have hailed essie as one of our favourite nail brands more than once on these pages, but it’s still fair to say the new collection merits a mention. Colour, colour, colour… and we absolutely love it. From bang on trend alabaster to smoking hot pink, we’re confident in saying every shady lady will find something to suit…
Urban Jungle – White nails are so in this season, and this orchid will have your pale nails heating up your look.
Fierce, No Fear – Sweet like chocolate, without any of the calories? Try this dreamy cocoa mahogany.
Roarrrrange – Wallflowers need not apply, but this bold orange is a daring shade that will brighten up any look
Strutt Your Stuff – If you’re dreaming of paradise waters this summer, wear the matching shade on your nails
Ruffles and Feathers – Other teals would be green with envy. Delicious.
Haute in the Heat – A good pink is essential in any polish wardrobe, so you may as well consider this raspberry an investment purchase.
