It’s a serious perk of the job here at Her.ie towers that we get to try and test some of the latest and greatest beauty releases and call it work. Lucky us. Here is a heads up on three products that got a communal thumbs up from the team in the week that was…

Naked Flushed, €29, Urban Decay
We’ve a lot of time for getting naked. Particularly when it involves any product from Urban Decay bearing that name. The eyeshadow palettes are the stuff of legend, so it makes sense for the brand to expand on the line that fans love so much. The latest addition is Naked Flushed, three new colour ways of the contour-friendly compact. The kits contain a full-size bronzer, highlighter and blush in co-ordinating shades… and we’re in love.
Streak… is made up of peachy, coral hues
Native… is pink to make the boys wink
Strip… is deeper and more dramatic, with a mauve hue
The packaging is sleek, the colour payoff is excellent and three full-size products in one handy kit comes in at €29. In short, we can’t find a bad word to say about this. Get thee to Urban Decay.
Arch Angel Tinted Brow Gel & Highlighter, €10.50, Divine Mascara €9.99, MeMeMe
If you’ve been browsing for some new eye makeup, we’ve got just the thing. Since its recent arrival to the Irish market, we’ve developed something of a soft spot for MeMeMe Cosmetics. We concentrated on lips last week, now we’re looking at eyes and brows.
As your brows frame the face, a good shape and some careful maintenance can make all the difference to your overall look. A good tool to add to your kit is the Arch Angel Tinted Brow Gel & Highlighter duo; a tinted brow gel to sculpt and shape your brows and a creamy highlighter to illuminate your brow arch. Pair with the newly-launched Dark and Divine mascara in black. Length, gloss and a lovely inky black add up to make this mascara a must-have for under a tenner.
Jenny Packham for Lancôme, free with purchase
If there’s one word we like even better than ‘bargain’ it’s ‘free’. So we’re giving props to Lancôme is this week for their third fab collaboration with luxury design house Jenny Packham. Packham, as fashion fans will know, is responsible for some of the dreamiest creations ever to walk a runway, and K Middy is a big, big fan. If it’s good enough for Kate…
Now, Lancôme has again joined forces with the luxury fashion designer to create a cosmetics bag designed exclusively by Jenny Packham for Lancôme. Inspired by an iconic print from the Jenny Packham SS14 collection, the fab bag is available in either blue or white, and contains a selection of luxury travel-sized Lancôme products, (always handy for weekends away). The gift comes free with the purchase of two Lancôme products (one to be skincare) and is available from June, while stocks last.
