It’s a serious perk of the job here at Her.ie towers that we get to try and test some of the latest and greatest beauty releases and call it work. Lucky us. Here is a heads up on three products that got a communal thumbs up from the team in the week that was…

Roads Fragrances, €98 for 50ml
If you’re in the market for a new scent, one incredibly talented Irish woman has it sussed. This week we headed to Brown Thomas to meet Danielle Ryan, CEO and founder of Roads Luxury Group, an international brand made up of three distinct elements: a publishing house, a film production company and now, perfume.
Roads Fragrance is launching a range of ten Eau de Parfum scents. Working in close collaboration with masters of perfumery for more than two years, Danielle developed the Roads fragrances with inspiration taken from places, people, specific moments in history, emotions, experiences and art.
Manufactured using only the finest raw ingredients, Roads Fragrances have launched exclusively at Brown Thomas stores nationwide and online at www.brownthomas.com.
We especially loved THIS WEEKEND, inspired by the excitement in preparing for a moment, with mandarin and bergamot, wild jasmine, sweet vanilla, amber, musk and patchouli, and CLOUD 9, a clean and fresh scent with Chamomile oil, fresh geranium, jasmine, soothing vanilla and amber, musk and sandalwood.
Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer, €16.25, No7
We’re sometimes guilty of not giving No7 the recognition it deserves as an affordable beauty brand with some seriously impressive and innovative releases. This translucent skin perfector minimises the appearance of pores and fine lines whilst boosting the skin’s radiance through a range of optical blurrers. We’ve been putting it to the test this week and can happily report that it also works perfectly as an alternative to foundation if you’re not looking for heavy coverage.
