Body Beautiful – Three New Beauty Buys to Try This Week

It’s a serious perk of the job here at Her.ie towers that we get to try and test some of the latest and greatest beauty releases and call it work. Lucky us. Here is a heads up on three products that got a communal thumbs up from the team in the week that was… _____________________________ Butter Me Up! This week we were most impressed with the Irish launch of the butter LONDON 'Rock Your Colour' collection. We're already big fans of the nail collections from the brand, and now their cosmetics line has become available on these shores, stocked in AVOCA stores nationwide. Though the colours may be too loud for some, (pink eyeliner and blue mascara don't work on everyone you know), but we really love the creamy blush and tinted balm. All products in the line range from €18 to €20 so nothing will break the bank, and the black and floral packaging is just lovely too. Spring Forward With the first full week of January down, we're already dreaming of spring days and bright colour pops. We may have to wait a while to introduce this to our wardrobes, but whoever said that had to apply to beauty? The latest fun collection from The Body Shop is a Spring Trend line, including Hair Chalk! Available in Tickle Me Pink and Falling for Blue, the chalks are wash-out products that make an immediate colour impact but wash out easily. At €11.95 each, these chalks are a simple way to introduce some fun colour to your look for a gig or a night out, with no lasting commitment. Aaaand Cleanse One of the buzziest products we've come across in quite a while, this beauty buy will only set you back a fiver... how could you go wrong? The Irish product is a microfibre cleansing cloth that claims to remove all makeup naturally, including mascara. Simply saturate with warm water the same way you would a face cloth. Then hand soap, rinse and dry for your next use. We have to admit being skeptical at first, but after a couple of uses we're slowly coming around to the notion and starting to believe the hype. We won't be ditching the cleansers entirely, but if you're on the go or looking for a pre-cleanser, this is pocket change very well spend.
