It’s well-known at this stage that many products influencers push out as “the best ever” on their social media are paid partnerships.
The element of opinion is naturally hindered when a brand is involved with the influencer or celebrity showcasing their products, meaning; do we ever really get the truth on quality, longevity etc.?
One beauty influencer, Elizabeth Kaye Turner, is well known for her approach to ‘no bullsh*t’ online, and we are so here for it.
That’s why when we spotted her latest video, we had to fill our readers in!
Elizabeth branded the Maybelline vinyl lipstick “the best affordable autumnal lipsticks” and the best part is, she bought them herself to try out and give an honest opinion.
She clarified with her hundreds of thousands of followers that she purchased the products herself and has no association with the brand.
In the short video she tries on some stunning autumnal colours and they look incredibly opaque and glossy.
She captioned the clip: “The best affordable autumnal lipsticks. Which is your fave? I bought these with my own moneys btw, it’s not associated with the brand!”
Elizabeth went on to say: “I wish I tried them sooner, they are so long-lasting!!”
