The best beauty buy I have picked up all summer cost €4.50 and is from Penneys

Like so many of us, I spent the majority of the past 18 months wearing very little – or no – makeup at all. And even now, as the world is opening up and we are allowed out again, I am still loving my new minimal approach, and have no desire to go back to a full face of makeup again. I do, however, like my skin to look flawless (don't we all?), and so on a whim while browsing my local Penneys the other day, I picked up a product from the PS range called 'Skin Balm – Blurring Pore Smoothener.' And guys – it may have only cost €4.50 – but it is honestly one of the most amazing beauty buys I have ever spent money on. The balm instantly glides over the skin, automatically blurring fine lines and any discolorations, and the finish was velvet soft – my skin looked amazing. Radiant, smooth and even, I didn't even need any other makeup than a little touch of cream blusher. And the best bit? It really stayed put. My skin looked flawless all day. I wore the balm by itself, but I imagine it will be utterly perfect worn as a primer under foundation too. A couple of days later, I was meeting a friend for a drink, and thought I needed a little colour, so I mixed the balm with a drop of tinted moisturiser, and again – total flawless and glowing skin. In fact, I think this combination is about to become my go-to makeup for the rest of summer – easy, glowy and very natural. The best €4.50 I spent in a long time? For sure!
