Benefit Cosmetics has recalled one of its popular products

Customers are asked to return it.

Benefit Cosmetics has issued a recall on its popular makeup Gimme Brow. The eyebrow gel is a firm favourite with beauty lovers. The company has been forced to recall the product over fears that it didn't meet their stringent quality standards. They issued an update on their website which read:

"Benefit Cosmetics is committed to the highest levels of quality and doing what’s right for our customers. Out of an abundance of caution, we are initiating a voluntary recall of our Gimme Brow product after discovering that recent batches of the product did not meet our stringent quality standards. If applied in its normal usage on the brows, the Gimme Brow product doesn’t involve any risk. However, if it comes into contact with the eyes, it could lead to eye irritation."

They then told customers to return the product to their nearest store for a full refund and have given details of a special email that has been created to deal with questions about the recall.

"We recommend that you stop using the product. For a full refund of the Gimme Brow product, please return it to your original place of purchase.
