In the market for a new foundation?
Look no further.
2022 is upon us, and with it comes a whole host of new beauty products waiting with bated breath just to be tried by us – the makeup wearing person.
We’ve put together a list of five newbies that we’re only dying to try out this year – and maybe even switch up our beauty routine altogether.
1. BPerfect, Chroma Cover foundation: €22.95
Ireland’s own BPerfect this year launched their first foundation collection, Chroma Cover – and with 36 shades, you can’t really go wrong.
Chroma Cover is a full coverage, matte, vitamin-rich foundation that will leave the skin feeling super hydrated. We’ve tried the new line ourselves too and we can confirm that it’s lightweight and very, very long lasting. A great shout if you’re considering switching up your foundation soon.
2. The Body Shop, Fresh Nude foundation: €20.00
When we say every skin type, we mean every skin type. The Body Shop recently launched their new Fresh Nude foundation collection (with all new packaging) and with 40 shades, you honestly could never be stuck finding the perfect match.
The newly branded foundation is the same formula that fans know and love, containing a new spatula, vitamin E and aloe vera, and a whole lot of moisture. It’s also entirely vegan and made with ingredients 95% from natural origin. Gorgeous.

3. SoSu, CC Me In foundation: €24.95
Makeup mogul that is Suzanne Jackson launched her first ever foundation line in 2022, and it’s no surprise that Irish gals everywhere have been very eager to get their hands on it.
With 10 shades to choose from, SPF protection, hyaluronic acid, and lots of other lovely ingredients that are only great for your skin, the new range boasts a weightless formula that promises to leave your face with a dewy, natural finish.

4. Charlotte Tilbury, Beautiful Skin foundation: €39.95
The queen of makeup has spoken – and she’s brought a new foundation with her too.
Charlotte Tilbury‘s Beautiful Skin foundation landed in stores at the beginning of 2022, and it’s one that we’ve been desperate to try out. Most notably because Tilbury’s makeup tends to be streets above the rest, but also because this beautiful, buildable product has been getting rave reviews across the board since it first launched.
5. Boots, 17 Second Skin foundation: €6.49
This year Boots relaunched their famous 17 range, and with it came some old favourites, some new products, and some pieces that have finally received the glow up they deserved.
Among them was Boots’ Second Skin foundation, a vegan formula rich in vitamin E and hyaluronic acid to give your skin that fresh and bright look it so craves. And at that price, you’d be mad to not give it a try.
