You’re welcome.
Here’s a fun fact: we should all be using night cream.
I know, it’s an extra expense, and an extra pain in the ass but honestly your skin will thank you.
I’m 26 and I started using night cream about 4 years ago, and I am so happy I did.
You’re doing your future self a favour by starting early.
I’ve tried so many night creams over the years, but the following four are my all time faves.
1: Murad Resurgance Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream,€79 .
This is the heavyweight! One of Caroline Hirons top picks and an award winner. Helps with everything from fine lines and loss of firmness to rough texture and dryness. All round amazing! Side note: this is the night cream I use, and I look 12.
2: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream, €34.
Brought to you by the same people that make the Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturiser (Pippa O’Connor’s fave!). This product is great for sensitive skin (the original Ultra Repair Cream can be used for eczema and sensitive skin conditions), but the Sleeping Cream also contains a peptide blend to help with firmness and tackle fine lines.
3: Lixirskin Universal Emulsion, €49.
This baby is a great all rounder and amazing for sensitive skin types too. The founder of this brand is a highly sought after product formulator for the likes of Rodial & Ren – hence the reason it’s so well priced yet so effective.
4: Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturiser, €77.
This is rich in texture and feels wonderful on the skin, imparting a visibly radiant and smooth appearance. It’s formulated with three powerful anti-ageing sciences. It also contains DMAE- A, powerful ingredient in the fight against loss of skin firmness.
