Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and we want to go all out for this year’s gift. We’re tired of buying our mams candles, pyjamas and chocolates year after year, because they deserve so much more.
If you’re looking for a Mother's Day gift you'll never forget, then we’ve found the perfect event for you. Moonpig Ireland is bringing back its Mother’s Day Tattoo Takeover 2.0 at Heartbreak Social Club, expanding to a two-day activation, March 9th and 10th, with complimentary “Mam”-inspired fine-line tattoos, floral installations, and surprise giveaways.
Building on huge 2025 demand, the campaign celebrates bold, lasting tributes to mums while spotlighting Moonpig’s wider Mother’s Day offering – from personalised and giant cards to nationwide fresh flower delivery.
This is far more exciting than the usual chocolates and pyjamas, and quite possibly the gift that'll make you the golden child. However, you’ll need to be quick because tattoos are limited.
To avoid disappointment, please join the queue early, as time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will run from 11 am to 7 pm on March 9th and 10th. Early arrival is encouraged to avoid disappointment.
What better way to show your mam just how much you love her than with a permanent tribute to her?
As incredible as the tattoo tribute is, don’t forget to buy her a card for the special day. There’s nothing an Irish Mammy loves quite as much as a sentimental card full of meaningful verses that she’ll likely stow away in the kitchen press for years to come.
You can check out Moonpig.ie’s, Mother’s Day collection here.
Mother’s Day takes place on Sunday, March 15th this year.
Order before 4 pm on March 11th for personalised cards or gifts to arrive in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday, 15th March.

There’s a huge variety of witty and sentimental cards available on Moonpig.ie at the moment. However, the personalised ones are that little bit extra special. You can create a card full of your favourite photos, whether that’s one from your favourite family holidays, or that hilarious one your mam may have told you to delete after your last Christmas party. Whatever you choose, there’s no doubt a personalised card will bring a smile to her face on Mother’s Day.
