Fasten those head pieces girls; the Best Dressed competition returns to the RDS Dublin Horse Show this year

Katy Thornton

The RDS Dublin Horseshow Best Dressed competition is brought to you by 1664 Blanc. Over 18s only.

One of summer’s calendar highlights is fast approaching, and it’s calling for the ultimate OOTD.

The Dublin Horse Show returns to the RDS this summer, one of our city’s longest standing traditions after starting all the way back in 1864. Every year thousands of people flock to Ireland for this magnificent celebration of international show jumping, and this year is to be no different. The RDS Dublin Horse Show takes place this summer between August 14th and August 18th, and best believe you don’t want to miss out on the experience.

Guests can expect good food, fancy drinks, and some of the most beautiful horses in Ireland and across the world – after all, this show is considered one of the leading equestrian events globally.

The Dublin Horse Show is about a lot more than just equestrian talent, however. For an event that exudes grace and elegance, one of its biggest pulls has to be the ever glamorous Best Dressed competition.

Taking place on Thursday, August 15th, attendees will naturally be dressing up to look the part, fluffing those skirts and fastening those headpieces – the more extravagant the better. It’s go hard (on the accessories) or go home, especially for the Best Dressed contest (over 18s only), which has some serious prizes on offer.

This year’s Best Dressed contest (over 18s only) partner is 1664 Blanc. The most stylish member of the renowned Kronenbourg family, 1664 Blanc blends its rich heritage with a modern, contemporary twist, breaking boundaries with its fashion-focused approach.

1664 Blanc’s unique flavour profile features delicate and playful touches of citrus fruits that echo the deluxe finish of champagne, refined and refreshing, brewed with a dash of elegant French joie de vivre, creating an exceptional drinking experience. This uniquely layered, yet easy-drinking brew is as recognisable from its taste as it is from its pearlescent golden haze.

There are four top prizes up for grabs, so don’t be shy. Think fashion-forward, and we think you’re in with a good chance.

First Place: €10,000 cash prize provided by 1664 Blanc
