Lea Michele has understandably been very quiet since the death of her boyfriend, and co-star, Cory Monteith but now she has spoken out about her tragic loss.
Speaking to TV Week Australia the actress explained that she considers herself lucky for knowing Cory, who was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver back in July.

“I really woke up every single day feeling like I was being in some sort of spell or something, that I was lucky enough to have him in my life...There was no greater man than Cory, so for the time we spent together I consider myself very lucky,” she said before adding that being back at work helps.
“Everyone is asking ‘Is it hard to do this? Is it hard to be back at work?’ But the truth is it’s no harder at work than it is in life so we might as well be together as a family supporting each other to get through this together.”

The Glee cast have just finished filming Cory’s tribute episode entitled ‘The Quarterback’ during which Lea sings a beautiful version of Bob Dylan’s To Make You Feel My Love. The 27-year-old told the magazine that it felt right to also say farewell to his character, Finn Hudson.
“I feel like, for me personally, I’ve lost two people: Cory and Finn,” she said. “We had a beautiful memorial for Cory in the auditorium and some of the cast members sang and people spoke about him... It only felt right that we would do the same thing for Finn, so it felt very therapeutic.”
