We all know that over the past few weeks there’s been speculation about whether or not there’s a royal bun in Kate Middleton’s oven. While it hasn’t been confirmed or denied yet, Prince William set tongues wagging yesterday when he accepted a babygrow from a well-wisher!
While Kate’s new fringe stole the vast majority of the limelight yesterday when the couple visited the city of Cambridge, Prince William’s actions didn’t go unnoticed.
As the royals mingled with crowds who had come out to see them, one well-wisher presented the Prince with a baby romper suit that had a picture of a helicopter and the words ‘daddy’s little co-pilot’ on the front. Prince William, an RAF search and rescue pilot, was reportedly thrilled with the gift.
Samantha Hill had made the present especially for the royals.
“I made it for when his little one comes along, he’s a helicopter pilot so his baby will think his daddy is cool,” said Ms Hill, speaking to the Daily Mail.
“When I gave it to him he said, ‘I’ll keep that’ and handed it to his aide,” she added.
Kate was also spotted meeting and greeting mothers and their children
But it seems like Prince William isn’t the only one with babies on the brain. Kate was spotted chatting to new mothers and asking them questions about their children.
“She asked what his name was and how old he was and shook his hand. She seemed very interested in him,” said Laura Sargent, a mother who brought her three-month-old son out to see the royals.
We reckon it won’t be too long before a royal announcement is made…
