She’s been sporting the same hair style since she first announced her engagement to Wills back in 2010 but it seems even Kate has got a bit fed up with her usual style and has given her long shiny locks an update.
Ok, so it’s not the most radical of hair styles but it’s not as if the future Queen of England could throw caution to the wind and go for a peroxide crop a la Miley or a lilac coloured do like Kelly Osbourne.
Her new 70s style fringe and shorter style take years off the 30-year-old royal and give her uber-conservative wardrobe a bit of a much needed update. We know she’s never going to venture too far from her current look (and with shiny locks like hers, why should she) but it’s just nice to see that she’s taking her look in a slightly new direction.

And you never know she might just update her makeup in the New Year too and ditch that black eye-liner once and for all. Fingers crossed anyway!
