Just because she lives in New York, rubs shoulders with the Hollywood elite and her father is in one of the biggest rock bands ever doesn’t mean that nothing bothers Eve Hewson.
In fact the 20-year-old actress has been complaining that her parents, U2’s Bono and Ali Hewson, are driving her mad as they are always checking up on her.

She told the Irish Daily Star that they are constantly on the telephone: “They’re so excited about it now, it’s so annoying. They don’t stop calling me.
“And they’re like, ‘When’s that audition and how did you do? And what movie are you going to do next?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh my God, stop calling me, you’re obsessed with me.’” You can see why she’s good at the acting!

The young star also admitted that while they are now driving her up the walls asking about her career, they haven’t always been keen on the idea of her acting.
“It didn’t go over so well with my dad… I’ve been acting since I was 15 and my parents were just terrified. I think because they’ve been around and know what Hollywood is, especially for a woman.”
But the star did explain that her parents are the ones responsible for her strong work ethic: “My parents work really hard to make sure that we don’t feel entitled,” she said before adding: “They want us to work for things.”
