David Beckham is reported to have earned a whopping €17 million from sponsorship deals last year.

The former Manchester United star also bagged a salary of over €3 million from his current team LA Galaxy.

Between his own company Footwork Productions, his sponsorship deals and clothing ranges among other things the 37 year old sports star did alright for himself.

A source told The Irish Sun: ‘The figures are a clear sign that Brand Beckham is as strong as ever. David may be nearing retirement from football – but his image is still as valued as ever.’

David's footballing talents are responsible for a fraction of his overall income.

This year saw an increase in income from the previous year which means it is likely that David will make even more over the next year.
