There was just one question on our minds last night as the Saturday Night Show came to a close on RTÉ… what are we going to spend our weekends giving out about now?

The season finale of the show saw a great plug for gardening, a chef who talks to Jamie Oliver on Twitter, a former Miss World, and a former Eurovision winner, so we’re sure, like us, you were glued to the couch.

We were all there for one reason though. Earlier this week RTÉ confirmed that Linda, subject of a ‘drag queen’ barb at this year’s Eurovision in Malmo, would perform a cover of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky.

First appearing on the couch for a chat, Linda, clad in a floor-length, backless, sequined dress insisted that the joke hadn’t bothered her, and gave as good as she got with sarcastic host Brendan O’Connor. The highlight of that particular chat was Linda informing him that no one really liked him, except her. Car crash telly at its best.
