Actress Jaime King doesn’t have long to wait now for the pitter patter of tiny feet which is precisely why she had her baby shower this weekend.

The Hart of Dixie star, who recently showed off her baby bump in a bikini, had brunch with friends and family at Soho House in West Hollywood according to Us Weekly.

As well as receiving the above collage from a friend, the 34-year-old posted a number of her own photographs on Instagram.

Among the celebrity guests tucking into the incredible Star Wars-themed cake (see below) were Selma Blair, Jessica Alba and Rachel Bilson.

It is the first child for Jaime and her filmmaker husband Kyle Newman who announced they were expecting back in May.

She captioned this: "THE most EPIC baby shower cake! #StarWars!"
