Jared Padalecki and his wife Genevieve Cortese Padalecki are expecting their second child together.

A source revealed the good news to Us Weekly after which the actor took to his Twitter account to confirm it.

This morning he wrote: “Shoot! I got on a plane and THEN realized that my tweet wasnt finished!Not used to this 140 character thing. I can confirm that Genevieve is pre [sic]”.

Jared, who is best known for his role in hit series Supernatural, also shared the above snap of his one-year-old son Thomas Colton holding the sonogram.

He captioned it: “Ok, ok! For real: here is Thomas with his future sibling :) (toms the one in the superman shirt)”.

The couple, who wed in 2010, is expecting their second child together.
