Top 10 Irish Power Couples We Love
From Amy Huberman and Brian O'Driscoll to Chris O'Dowd and Dawn Porter, find out who has made it onto our list of the best (and at least half) Irish power couples.
Amy Huberman and Brian O’Driscoll - We just had to kick off with this match made in heaven. He’s a burly Irish rugby player with more muscles than sense and she’s a gorgeous Irish actress with the film world at her feet. Enough said!
Bono and Ali Hewson - Having been married for 28 years with four kids, it’s no wonder why we’re including this power couple on our list. As one of the longest standing celebrity marriages, these two clearly can’t live with or without each other.
Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern - There’s nothing this couple can’t do. He can sing and dance (or so we hope for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing) while she is able to manage the balance between work and family perfectly.
Chris O’Dowd and Dawn Porter - These two have sort of come out of nowhere as one of our favourite ever couples. They both seem so down to earth and are always laughing with each other. Call us sops, we don't care!
Robbie Keane and Claudine Palmer - Like something out of a teen movie, soccer team captain meets the beauty queen contestant. The two fall in love and live a life filled with underwear shoots and team transfers. So not quite a fairy-tale but fabulous nonetheless!
Kian Egan and Jodi Albert - Kian married singer and actress Jodi Albert back in 2009 and the two recently added to their family in the shape of son Koa. So it’s not necessarily our name of choice but still, we won’t hold that against them.
Vogue Williams and Brian McFadden - While he rose to fame in one of the most successful boy bands ever, she is best known for her DJ-ing and of course Fade Street which sort of makes us cringe in a it’s-so-bad-it’s-good kind of way.
Pippa O’Connor and Brian Ormond - They might well be up against each other in Celebrity Bainisteoir but this couple are more together than ever. They look so perfect what with their matching, and slightly cheesy, smiles.
Una Healy and Ben Foden - She has taken over the music industry while Ben can tackle with the best of them on the rugby pitch. Also, any couple that can produce a child as cute as Aoife deserves a place on our list!
Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley - We just had to include someone with a bit of northern charm. Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley have been friends for years but just recently took their relationship to the next level. We have our fingers and toes crossed it works out!
They are all great as individuals which means together they are incredible. Meet the Irish power couples who we admire the most...
And don't foget to tell us who your favourite is!
